Place the flashing or boot onto the plumbing vent so the base is resting on shingles.

Prepare the roof area.
Momentarily lift the boot and apply sealant to hold the flashing in place.
Various size vents will come.
Place the cover over the vent opening and screw into place.
Insert the rubber gasket through the pipe.
Run a tape measure over the diameter of the pipe and add 1 2 to 3 4 inch to that before making the cut.
Install the panels leading up to the vent pipe until getting as close as possible to the pipe.
